As Chief Executive Officer of the Urbana group of companies, Mr. Gutierrez is responsible for the daily oversight of each companies operations with particular attention given to evaluating development and acquisition opportunities, geographic and investment expansion, and management of key capital and business relationships.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Gutierrez has over 25 years experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to forming Urbana, Mr. Gutierrez was a Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Songy Partners, Founder and CEO of Alliance Partners, Inc., a national real estate advisory firm with offices in Florida, Colorado and California; a Vice President with Sonnenblick Goldman, a national real estate investment banking firm; and a Manager with Kenneth Leventhal and Company a real estate consulting group.

Mr. Gutierrez has also performed over 100 assignments covering commercial real estate assets in 48 states as a real estate advisor, whose area of expertise includes strategic planning, debt restructuring, non-performing loan sales, merger and acquisitions of public and private real estate companies and feasibility studies. Mr. Gutierrez has also secured debt and/or equity for numerous institutional quality office projects, hotels, rental apartments, golf courses and residential land developments.

EDUCATION

Mr. Gutierrez graduated from Michigan State University with a Master's degree in Finance and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Wayne State University, Detroit. He also attended the University of Houston for postgraduate real estate studies.
