Acquisitions & Development History
Urbana actively pursues acquisition opportunities of well-located properties
that are in need of renovation or repositioning in the marketplace. While both
renovation and development opportunities are sought, Urbana may also readapt
the use of a property or site. For example, Urbana can readapt a former retail
space into an office building or convert office space into hotels or residences.
Urbana identifies market trends, as well as understands national investment dynamics, then blends equity and debt capital to best match each project. An acquisition and development strategy is established that accommodates a sale of the completed project to an institutional investor seeking a stable asset with Class-A fundamentals. Urbana's flexibility, ingenuity and pursuit of diversity offer up solutions that set us apart from others.
